Macdaddy 10 Posted October 1, 2016 Has anyone had the gauges stick in the off position? Since she's been sat about the fuel gauge and temp gauge often need a knock on the glass to become unstuck from the off position. Wondered if perhaps its moisture and just needs a few runs out. dragon green 5 Posted October 1, 2016 Weirdly my temp gauge started to stick,ok when I first start up,drive 4 miles, stop to get a paper on the way to work, restart and dial doesn't move ! Drive a few more miles, and it starts to work ! Tried turning ignition off and back on,doesn't do anything ! When it stops completely I'll investigate
sankysvr6 0 Posted October 3, 2016 The gauges may possibly just have damp or slight corrosion on the pins if its been sat awhile. If you've not already looked in to it, you could take the binnacle out and pull the gauges out. The gauges simply pull out as whole gauge, with the needles still attached. You could then inspect the pins and clean them out.
