Alastair1 10 Posted November 28, 2016 I am requiring a headlight switch (95 Corrado) and came across a direct replacement in the States, 10 pin male and looks exactly the same as the U/K switch. Only cost about $15 and I could get a friend to bring it across who will be here for Christmas. Anyone know if the US switches are the same? Tries to get one of the UK direct replacements but there seems to be none around.
robrado974 1 Posted November 28, 2016 I wouldn't have thought they would be different?

delfinis38 1 Posted November 29, 2016 Can you compare part numbers
Alastair1 10 Posted November 29, 2016 Yea, part number is different, likely a retro p/no. REPV 180902. OEM part is 535941531F. It states it is 10 pin and a direct replacement for what its worth. Looks like there is an 11th pin but all other pin markings are similar.
Jim 2 Posted November 29, 2016 Have you tried sending a PM to '8vMatt' on here? He had a whole batch of new headlight switches manufactured and they work fantastic. Not sure if he has any left in stock or not. Alternatively, VW Heritage have them at a slightly toe curling £73: https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/corrado/535941531F/headlight-switch-for-corrado-uk-spec-92-95/?crumbStartPage=2&crumbStartRow=18 (Matt's only cost about £25!) Alastair1 10 Posted November 29, 2016 Tried 8vMatt and did not get him, another post also says he is all out. The VW heritage ones are an option, may try the retro switch for all it costs, not much to loose anyway, total cost is similar price to the vat on the VW hetiage one. Appreciate your responces.
