I did know they'd planned to make a diesel version, and I knew that they had prototyped a lower displacement 24v (the "RV6") well ahead of the eventual release of the 12v VR6 that we have in the Corrado. But I didn't know they tried multiple different variants before settling on the designs that we now know of... such as an even narrower angle in the cylinders (8 degrees!), an inline 6 cylinder, single overhead cam, TRIPLE overhead cam...
