VR-Sixy 0 Posted February 16, 2017 I've noticed that the replacement driver side door glass has quite a few scratches on the outside and i wondered if there's anything you guys would recommend to get rid of them. The glass that went into the door after 'the incident' was from an old door i had knocking around, and although i noticed it at the time, i didn 't realise how much the scratches would bug me!! I have found this for windscreens..... http://www.frost.co.uk/extra-polishing-powder.html And i guessing i can use this for the door glass as well. Would welcome any input..... Thanks. Mystic Rado 0 Posted February 16, 2017 That might do it. I had a similar issue with a scratched passenger side window caused by the trim scraping it and just bought some Cerium Oxide online and used it with a Dremel polishing pad. Works great. There's a slight distortion along the line of the scratching if you look hard for it, but otherwise it looks fine and I never notice it. I suspect that polishing kit has Cerium Oxide in anyway, it seems to be the default choice.

VR-Sixy 0 Posted February 17, 2017 Thanks guys. I'll try the Cerium Oxide route first and see how it goes. If not i'll replace the glass.
