Rust prevention

Can anybody here recommend a good rust prevention treatment to preserve corroda body work, floor and subframe, etc.

Im guessing it would include using underseal as one of the treatments and/or maybe powder-coating?

For rust prevention Dinitrol products are a good choice

I sand back and paint with eastwood rust encapsulator as a primer. I then paint with colour and laquer (even the underside)

 

Then cover it all with dinitrol 4941 i think, its a black wax. They also do a clearer one called corroheat for the engine bay.

 

Also worth getting the cavity wax they do, 3125 or something similar number to that. I've sprayed that in every hole/gap.

 

I do wonder what would happen if my car caught fire, it'll be like a massive candle.

Thanks JIM for detailed reply. Yes i heard about the dinitrol stuff and i know its expensive. Is that only applied under the car is that right?

You do all this work yourself or can you recommend someone? You know how much someone would charge for the whole treatment?
