Nugget paint dilemma

Hi guys

 

I could with some advise.

I'm getting my g60 resprayed,however the body shop has given me two options nugget yellow as original

Or nugget yellow with a clear coat over the top( clear laqured)

I'm not what to do and what the benefits are, will the clear coat prevent pigment fade??

Any advise appreciated

Are they talking about 2 pack Acrylic paint vs the normal base coat then lacquer?
