Who's rebuilt their own Charger??

Recommended Posts

Just curious how many of you have rebuilt your charger. Mine needs done and I have some holidays coming up so I fancy giving it a shot. Got a really good guide for doing it. I got the link of this from some post on this forum. Its got plenty of pictures of each stage along with excellent descriptions.

What do you reckon? easy-ish or pretty difficult. I really good at getting my hands dirty and really want to get to know the g60 well.

I rebuild them myself, not so difficult just need some pliers for the circlips and a press and heated air stripper for the bearings.

Darren, you need to set up that premium rate number before offering that kind of service! You know the £1.50 a minute one!

Not that difficult to do really. There are a few points that get easier the more times you do it. Leaving 12 months between rebuilds means you forget a lot but nothing that you cannot work around.
