Engine stand

Can anyone recommended an engine stand for a VR6, not really sure what to look for,cheers

Top of the range Sealy version mate, i've run about 5 different engines on that stand, even though it's forbidden as stated in the instructions..

No problems test running fiat panda engines, my corrado turbo 16v engines, fiat tipo 1,6 engine, Vr6..

The only thing that got a bit worn was the steady pin that moves a bit within the locking hole on the engine locating plate.

How do they attach? Do you have to have special jig or sommin to attach to the Engine?

Depends if you Wanna actually start and test run the engines. The one photoed above would also be Ideal, providing you only use it For static rebuilding the Engine.

Yeah It would just be for static use just so I can strip and clean up the engine whilst it's out of the car

How would you lift it into position? My spare engine is still on a pallet :(
