Dash Speaker Adapters

Hi guys. I bought a set of Vibe Slick 5.25" components for the doors that also come with a a pair of tweeters. These however are only 5cm where the dash is 10cm. Anyone know if adapters exist? I've been googling but no joy.

 

If not does anyone have a set of burnt out 10cm + screws I can buthcer to mount the new tweeters on?

I used a bit of 5 mm mdf cut a circle the Diametre of the old Nokia tweeter approx 100mm then cut a inner circle out of about 50mm which is your tweetersize. then bent a u shape bracket to hold the tweeter to the under side of the mpf.

On my MK3 I ripped the paper cone off and used mastic to glue the tweeter to the centre of the old speaker (presuming the grills clear the new tweeters in situ?).
