Hi Does anybody know anyone within a 75 mile radius of South Wales who services superchargers.

Or Any advice on how big a job it is to do yourself if you buy the kit.

I'd try OCD in Doncaster or JMR in Littlehampton. Not within your 75 mile range admittedly but people with G60 knowledge are getting a bit thin on the ground these days.

 

Servicing yourself is feasible. Just depends on tools / capability.

 

It's been a long time since I last did one and recall a couple of bearings in the charger that where difficult to get out.

 

The rest, if you are methodical, is not hugely challenging.

I consider myself a jack of all trades master of none Mark.

I can send it to dub force for stage 1 @ 425 returned but wondered if anyone was closer so I could take the car there and have them sort it.

I checked the outlet the other day and there are some metal shards in the oil residue.

Not had time to do a boost check yet as car in garage with charging fault at the mo.

You'll get a better deal and great service at Only Charged Dubs. I had a stage 2 upgrade and service for less. Not sure about the cost of sending it though but they also used to powder coat it a range of colours free too

Think it's about the same price Bud.

Seems to be a standarish charge.

I think with the kits being 260 its well worth removing it and getting it serviced,any grages recommended from experience would help.

I will have to do a boost check soon just to get an idea of condition.

Does anyone know where you can get the upgraded oil feed pipe you used to get off g-werks etc
