GUS 0 Posted September 28, 2017 Hey Peeps. My cars going back into storage for 7 months, and its covered 1,200 miles since last oil change in July 2016. delfinis38 1 Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) I never use my car but change every six months filter and oil. If it's fine now I would not bother but put fresh in 7 months time (unless you have a cheap supply of oil).. you will find the engine block gets condensation in it over winter... the oil will go slightly like mayo... as it won't get up to temptreture with normal running to burn it off. Nothing to worry about I run mine every month to get the oil round the system... if left for a long time the engine can sound very tapppy. Leave car in gear and hand break off, stops the rear breaks sticking if you don't have a mk4 rear calliper conversion.
