Air filter heatshields possibly for sale

Blue_Joe & I have an opportunity to have some heatshields made - suitable for K&N type cone air filters. Wether or not we go ahead & get these done will depend on how much interest there is.

 

Anybody interested in buying a polished steel heatshield for their cone filter ??

 

Alternatively, if you don't yet have a cone filter we will be able to supply complete induction kits.

 

Price will be confirmed once interest is gained - greater total order size , lower price.

Our supplier is looking to confirm at least 10 items to make a viable order.

G60's initially although as nobody else does them for the VR we will be looking at having some of these made too 8)

Id be very interested in one to go round my 16v's airbox, as im sure now its drilled (only on the front and wing side) that its injesting some hot air from the engine.

 

Be nice if it was a polished stainless item or somthing similar too.

Should be no reason why this can't be done. Just means a slightly different cut pattern to the shield. The plan will be to have these made in polished stainless steel with rubber edging strip.

what happened to the heat shield thread we had before?

 

someone was gonna be fabricating them, and they were for VRs?

 

I looked a couple of weeks ago but it seems to have disapeared

Id def be interested in one of these. I have a jetex induction kit on my g60, would it fit and go round that no bother? Do you have a rough idea of the price mate?
