Mikcarg 10 Posted April 23, 2018 Hi just joined. Had a 18 16v a few years ago and loved it. Looking at buying a 2'0 at the weekend with the intention of dropping a 2.0tfsi in and fitting haldex from a 05 Audi a3 Quattro.
swiftkid 1 Posted April 23, 2018 Hi welcome, the tfsi conversion is something I've considered as they seem to tune so easily and the noise is awesome. From memory the A3 8P rear diff cradle is absolutely huge so difficult to sculpt to corrado rear end. I've toyed with the idea of 4WD but never gone any further than just thinking about it, plenty of info but best bet is syncro rear end with haldex hanger welded to it. Mikcarg 10 Posted April 24, 2018 I have someone not far from me selling a axle already done with haldex. Tfsi should see 250-260bhp from a stage 1 so 4wd is going to be a huge benefit for a stage 2 .
