Supercharged 2 Posted August 3, 2004 Ok, here's an interesting one for you all :) I have been messing around with the damping rates of my Koni TA's (all round with H&R springs and Eibach ARBs) for a while now and altho i'm happy with the setup, I can never get it quite right... the roads round here don't help either... Anyways, what is interesting is at present a have the fronts set at 1 and 3/4 turns and the rears at 1/2 a turn (from soft) and the car handles noticably better with a huge block of marble in the boot (don't ask  ) So... the rear feels much more stable around corners with extra weight on it so what do i need to adjust to compensate...? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 3, 2004 Keep the tank full? Put your sub back in? Try softening the rear right down and drop the front to 1.25 turns. If you over do the rears, the car will be very lively and bouncy at the back. In fact a few of my old Castle Coombe track racing mates used to remove the front ARB altogether, 1 to 1.5 turns at the front and a big ARB at the back. Works well on the track and on bumpy roads. Just go easy in the wet!
Supercharged 2 Posted August 3, 2004 Went out again tonite with a mate so more weight up front, back was sliding a bit but its hard to tell as the roads were wet... i'll adjust it tomorrow and see, or maytbe I just need the axel bushes changing
