fla 9 Posted January 24, 2021 The passenger side indicator seems to collect moisture after a few days. I've taken it out, dried it thoroughly for a few days in the airing cupboard, sealed up the lens edge and even put some tube extensions on the vent in case water is wicking down from somewhere. Still collects moisture. I've filled it with water to see if there are any drips but none at all. Drivers side is fine car is sorned at present Does anyone else have this issue and if so how did you solve it? Might otherwise invest in some of those replacement lights from buycarparts Thanks Hasan
tony_ack 0 Posted January 25, 2021 Not sure what you meant by the tube exensions, but could it be coming through the bulb hole? It's usually a tight fit, but those seals on the holders will be pretty old now.
fla 9 Posted January 25, 2021 Good point Tony! I assumed the tight fit meant a good seal. Certainly worth adding some grease there to minimise the risk of water ingress Extensions were literally pieces of tubing that i fitted on to the vent barbs on the top and bottom of the light. I'll post a pic when i remove it again.
