PhatVR6 0 Posted August 8, 2004 Who says the Schrick VGI doesn't work.....that's a true 200lbs.ft of torque at 3500rpm, 160lbs.ft at 2000. run aborted at 5600, the car wouldn't suit steady on the rollers due to camber issues. shame as I was hoping for 210BHP at least. 2.5" exhaust next, and a proper chip, and a proper dyno run up to 7200rpm too......230BHP hereI come! Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 8, 2004 195 @ 5600 is bloody good going though and 200 pounds at 3500 is awesome! Your VGI dip isn't as prounounced as some I've seen, is that because of the 268s do you think? Vince is putting mine in on September. My engine will be same as yours then, bar the flywheel and pulleys. 230 would be lovely, and Vince regularly sees 225 from VRs with 268s and VGIs, so here it comes
PhatVR6 0 Posted August 8, 2004 standard chip.....it's shite. that flat spot will be gone once it's mapped. I just don't want to lose that nice 160lbs.ft lump by going for a 2.5" pipe. might stick to 2.25.
