pendinedash@live.co.uk 0 Posted March 31 The bonnet of my corrado has been open for several seasons and the release cable has rusted/jammed. I closed the bonnet foolishly to check alignment and of course I cant release it. Do I keep pulling the handle and risk snapping the cable or where do I squirt wd40? Help! easypops 8 Posted March 31 it’s worth trying to gently pull the handle and have someone else bounce on the bonnet at the mechanisms, it’s probable it’s the catches that are stuck as much / more than the cable. If that doesn’t work and you can get the front grill off it’s possible to manually release the mechanism at each side, although it’s pretty awkward.Much easier with a second pair of hands.
