Bumpers different for different rado's?

Hi does anybody out there know if bumpers to Corrado's have changed over the years. I am trying to find a replacement bumper for a 92k VR6. I have found one but they don't know the age or type of Corrado. Should I go for it?

There was a change around 92... There's a slight difference in the coach line which runs around the bumper, but I think that's about it...

 

If the bumper has still got fogs/indicators in it, then this is the quickest way of telling (unless someone's modified it!) as the early (non-VR6) foglamps were a seperate unit while the later ones had a black plastic surround which went around (and helped hold in) the indicator too..

 

Other than that, I don't think there's a lot of difference and either bumper should fit and I'm pretty sure it's just cosmetic differences...

Hi anyone recognise this bumper as a new version of a corrado bumper... I checked out the buyers guide and it's difficult to tell?

I would say newer buy the looks of the fog/indicator mounts!

I dont think you can really tell by that picture,

 

Best bet if ya interested in it, would be to email him and ask. If it was yellow originally i would imagine it being an earlier bumper.

IIRC Nugget yellow wasn't available on face lift cars... :|

Excellent thanks, will keep an eye out for another bumper... there is one going in Bath for around the same price. Will see if I can get it. Cheers for that, saved me a wasted journey!
