Recommend me a CAT2 and installer in Berkshire!

Hi all,

 

The annual insurance renewal dance has begun, and a lot of places are claiming they won't touch me without at least a CAT2. I have a VW Logic 6000 immobiliser fitted by the previous car owners, but obviously this isn't certified by thatcham any more..

 

I also have an unknown ex-CAT1 alarm/immob with remote, so I'm not worried about replacing that at the moment (two immobilisers are probably enough..), so a new CAT2 will do the job for the insurance purposes (hopefully it'll also be easier to use!).

 

Any recommendations on fitters in the Reading area or recommendations on the type to get welcomed, I'm hoping this can be as painless as possible...

If you want to travel to Guildford, try Ian Bannings and also talk to Andy Bryant who works there, as he is a VW nut and had a VR6 C for a while as well, so knows a bit about fitting alarms etc to VW's.
