Nugget Yellow Paint

Where's the best place to get paint from? Getting some work done to spruce the car up in the near future and want to make sure I get the proper paint.

 

Is VW the best place to get it from? and if so how much money are we talking about??

Halfords will do a paint match if you give them your paint code, think they can even blend it if the original paint has faded a bit.Can buy from a vw body shop also I think

i get my paint made at the local paint / carparts place. they take the colour code and make it up. the halfords down here also do that.

 

about a tenner for a spraycan,

 

cheaper paint seems to be a worse match tho.

Tried Halfords. The match isn't exactly great, in fact its pretty poor.

A local place which mixes paint for me has colour cards and there are always 5 or 6 different shades of the same colour. If you could find the paint supplier for your local bodyshops they would probably be able to sort you out.
