My new run'a'bout and possible future project car...

Recommended Posts

Picked up this little puppy last weekend from Alex P-G. Very happy indeed! It is an original 1.6 Mk1 Golf Gti, its got a rebuilt engine (might be a 1.8, not sure), the body work is in pretty good condition just a little surface rust here and there, new front springs, brakes, bushes, good tyres, 12 months MOT and 3 warning dials. I'm very happy and its going to be used as a daily driver until the corrado is on the road, then I might turn it into a bit of a project car for next years show season.... not sure yet. But all in all its a fine example and she pulls very well indeed! Well chuffed, cheers Alex...

If it's a 1.8 the top hose comes off between cylinders 3 and 4 on the head. If 1.6 its between 1 and 2.
