Blue_Joe 0 Posted August 29, 2004 Well I woke up this morning early to polish the car for the midlands meet to be greeted with a smashed drivers window, bent door frame and a missing stereo. And I thought that was bad. Was on my way to Auto Glass as they couldn't get to me and then it struck.... I now have no second gear and a requirement for a reconditioned gearbox!!!!!!! Does anyone know a reputable place to get a recon box for a G60 and roughly how much it's going to set me back. Try all the cheapest options first... a gearbox rebuild is eye wateringly pricey, and a 2nd hand box could go as soon as you fit it so probably not worth considering IMHO.
