what do people do about spares with aftermarket alloys?

just a quickie, I'm looking at some 2nd hand 16" rims but theres only 4 of them, so what can I do for a spare without buying a new rim matching the 2nd hand ones? :? what does everyone else do?

space saver wheel? had one in the boot of my honda and that was on 16's

 

if its a front tyre that goes just put the back wheel on the front (so at least the driving wheels are the same) and the space saver on the back

just keep your 15" spare in the boot, it should be fine to get you home after a puncture

if the tyre sizes are 'correct' they should be the same overall size (rolling radius) give or take a few mil so the original spare or one of your old wheels will be fine to use as a 'get me home wheel' :)

I don't have the facility of spare wheel well so my Aid is a can of tyre weld

I bought another set of 3 wheels so I could have some spares! :lol: :twisted:

 

I don't actually have a spare in the car, I just do the same as cheesy and carry a can of tyre weld and my AA card... 8)

ditch the spare get a can of tyre weld and chuck a sub in the spare wheel space nice and covert 8)
