RedRocket 0 Posted September 6, 2004 My girlfriend bought me a set of Infinity 5000c series components for christmas last year to go in my clio. I moved on to the corrado in June and have made some time to fit the components. However, the mids don't fit and was wondering what can be done as i don't want these speakers going to waste! pablo_vr6 0 Posted September 6, 2004 space them out with mdf rings mate (assuming depth is the problem) if its width then mdf rings *might* work depending on how tightly the mids taper in.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 6, 2004 The Corrado mids are a weedy 5" and the standard pockets will take no bigger in their normal configuration. I'll bet the Clio ones are much more Basstastic 6.5". Only solution is to make some door pods yourself or buy some from a specialist such as Audioscape.
