Supercharged 2 Posted September 9, 2004 Thats the one, probably a bit of an arse to fit if the bar is still on the car...
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 9, 2004 VR6 drop links are £49+VAT from the dealer. £12.50 is way off. That's a G60/16V solid drop link. VR6s use a ball jointed drop link and is totally different. They're easy to change. Just need to undo the 13mm nut holding it to the wishbone then spin it off the Anti-roll bar.
Si B 0 Posted September 10, 2004 Ditto to Kevhaywires post, £12.50 is exactly what I paid, each, for a couple of links for my G60. You will need to jack both front wheels up to fully unload the anti roll bar before you remove the link.
Supercharged 2 Posted September 10, 2004 Yep, sorry, forgot the VR ones are different...
CharlieHorse 0 Posted September 11, 2004 oh well. so much for thinking that any part for a VR is cheap.
Bean 0 Posted September 14, 2004 No that is not true I got a part for my VR the other day and it cost me less than a fiver 8) It was only the expansion tank cap though  But everything else has cost me too much to count! :(
