aposegil 0 Posted September 21, 2004 here is alink that was put on here a few weeks ago http://www.turbo-drive.at/TurboDrive/ also these guys do kits http://www.hgp-turbo.de/ the prob is there is no one way of doing either 16vg60 or 16vT it all depends what ur looking for (i.e how u want the power to come in and how much power etc)

aposegil 0 Posted September 21, 2004 as the other thread has been locked this is my reply i was going to give :- like ive mentioned in the wanted section what is it ur really wanting to get out of ur engine if you want ultimate power then ull go turbo with a standalone system again if you go 16vg60 you can use the G60 ECU system Ive also been told you can get the Cosworth ECU system to run on our engines which im trying to look into but anyway you go youll def be looking at a min of £5000 to do it properly
aide 0 Posted September 21, 2004 £5k ! I'd have thought you could get running a G6016v for half that - but I am guessing :D
aposegil 0 Posted September 21, 2004 well ull prob can if u do the work urself (i.e take about £2000 in labour) but for example my engine cost me £3000 to have built and ive done the rest fo the work to convert it to 16vg60 for about £1000 including buying the charger then add the last £400-£500 to map the ECU to my engine and ur close enought to £5000
aide 0 Posted September 21, 2004 yep your right - didn't count any labour in my £2,5k - bargain hunting parts only
aposegil 0 Posted September 21, 2004 see doesnt take long for the pennies to amount upto £5000 if u totally it all up :D

khurrado 0 Posted September 21, 2004 uim looking to put some more power in my 6v as well, im being advised to gas flow it and change the kams- we had a race last night, a mk2 with 2.0 16v conversion at 185 bhp, a corrado g60 stage 4, a corarado 16v, and at the back a pitiful Jap crap toyota celica I pulled out 2nd with some carefuil driving but in terms of power i was left behind the gold and g60 Need more power, but for a reasonalbe price. aposegil 0 Posted September 21, 2004 mate i would love to hear how this mkII is getting 185bhp anyway like ive mentioned on another thread best way for cheap pennies to produce extra power is to do what ive mentined anythings else would be over £3000 in mods :(
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 21, 2004 One way of getting 185 bhp is:- 9A block, KR head, K-Jet, WUR Mod, K-star KS-301 and Schrick Assymetric cams  Without the Schricks but using 2 exhaust cams, 167 is the norm with 150 pounds. I've got some graphs somewhere, will have to traul the hard drive and find them.....
