jackvine 0 Posted June 25, 2010 Hi Just picked up a Maroon Corrado 16V yesterday, just looked at paint code its LB5V cant seem to find this listed ! When Ive done a search it comes back as a blue paint code ! So I suspect the car has been painted at some stage. Does anyone know the correct paint code for a Marron Corrado ? Jim 2 Posted June 25, 2010 Interesting... google says "KOMETEN BLUE LB5V" for that paint code. Comet Blue? Certainly was not a Corrado colour that I'm aware of.. wonder if it was some kind of special order?! Google Translator reckons that comes back as Stellar Blue and indeed seems right as I can find info on camper vans painted in that colour in the early 80's. Supercharged 2 Posted June 25, 2010 Very strange - that looks very much like Dark Burgundy Pearl = LC3U Maybe a miss printed sticker perhaps - does it say the same in the service book? Weird that it was misprinted with that code though, given that the Corrado never came in that colour anyway. Anybody know if the Scirocco came with that paint code..?! P1010019_low.JPG[/attachment:30pddfvt] it's definitely LP7Z, the boot sticker and service book sticker say the same, can't find a reference to it on the web, only that it is a light grey metallic (see above), 1991 :scratch: this car is 1994 and has def never been that sort of colour.
