    Definitely not the patient, just dropped my GF to pick up a prescription, so parked up to wait and just happened to find an empty space opposite a corrado

    my GF came out and couldn't believe it, she said only you could find an empty space opposite the only other Corrado we've seen for ages in our area :-)

    Havnt updated in a while, here's a few pictures of how I have her now, back on the steels now I have center caps.

    Does this metal bracket section have a wierd 'C' section on it?

     

    If it does then it is suppossed to slot into the passenger side of the front engine mount console (The bit that is between the engine and the front mount)

     

    Bit of a long shot as this post is over 10 years old, but when the metal C section is located in the passenger side of engine mount, the rest of the metal tab wants to sit between the gearbox face and the mount. Doesn’t look right so wondered if there is a spacer or maybe my pipe requires bending to miss it? I’ve put a post up earlier today about this exact question showing some pics of mine. Had plans to do so much today but spent all day trying to sort this issue, no wonder my cars not finished :-)

    I'm trying to fit my lower metal water pipe and it just doesn't seem to fit properly. The left-hand side looks very close to engine and the bracket seems to interfere with the gear box.     Havnt updated for a while as I've been driving her and enjoying her for a while before I start on other jobs.

     

    I spent a day washing, claying, polishing and protecting the paint. Which she really needed doing. And I finally got new tyres and got the steels on.

    I have a brand new, never fitted, set of audioscape doorpods for the late interior in their original boxes in the loft.

    I'll dig them out tomorrow and get photos, any interest?

    From them being a classic parts dealer i am guessing you mean the genuine VW 50mm one. I cant see any other type on their site. We already stock this.

    We are going to look into spoonfeds splitter at VW Heritage and try to stock it. I know both the chaps here with Corrados are looking to order one each and from what i hear the shipping is pretty pricey. We can only get the 50mm now currently
    Anna, have you considered stocking the spoiler mechatechnic supply? It's a 50mm spoiler and fits superb. They also supply the fixing plate. 99 euros for spoiler and 41 euros for fixing plate. The postage was a little step but still worked out way cheaper than the spoonfed spoiler. Just an option :-)

    £2200. It's a lump of money but I've had the car since September 2000 and it's not going anywhere so I think the investment is worth it!
    Totally agree with you. To be honest it's not that much when you break it down into the individual components. I'll look forward to seeing the finished seats :-)
