  1. If you want the body with a larger butterfly, mail me on mailto:[email protected]
  2. Kev is correct. The OBD2 body is sealed for life, and can't be stripped. I can re machine for higher flow up to the butterfly, but it's not nearly as good as the OBD1 2.8 and 2.9 bodies that I do. They are fitted with a bigger butterfly and re machined for higher flow. They are NOT just polished. Mail me on mailto:[email protected] for info
  3. I have now caught up with the backlog. Thanks for all of your quick returns. Not sure about all this reset stuff. Sorry, but I am a BMW man  I have sent an email with a couple of suggestions.
  4. I can supply you with an exchange throttle body with a proper high flow ventrui shape, and a larger butterfly for £120 email mailto:[email protected]
  5. Where did you get the pulley, and how much was it? Is it anodised?
  6. The throttle body is available from me @ £120 exchange. email mailto:[email protected]
  7. Where are you getting the pulley from, how much is it, and is it anodised?
  8. You can get in touch with me on mailto:[email protected] I can do Vr6s on exchange but I don't currently have any 16v bodies on exchange. If anyone has an old one, I will gladly buy it.
  9. I can also modify the 16 valve body to a big bore spec. I don't have them on exchange, but I can turn it around in 2-3 days.
  10. Hi all. I am now back from my hols. You can contact me on mailto:[email protected] if you have any queries. Just to confirm a point. The 2.8 Golf and 2.9 bodies both use the same size butterfly. The Golf just looks smaller because it has a lump in it to help with it's more progressive throttle action. The highline models use a factory sealed spindle that can't be fitted with an oversize butterfly.
