thinking 20v turbo conversion but who to do it, job lot supply fit ect how much roughly any ideas cheers

decided to fit my rieger grille today fixed in place with self tappers and closed the bonnet to see if it needed adjusting it did.so i went to open my bonnet and the clip on the cable gave up used a pair of pliers and can get it to release passenger side only DONT want to smash the grille just had it painted how do i get my bonnet open????? :mad:

have noticed a ported throttle body on ebay thinking of bidding what will this change performance wise is it worth it?????????

can u stop this by pulling the acc pedal towards u if so sounds like a cable problem

had a similar prob on my 2.0 16v mine was sticking on 2000 rpm and somtimes going so low it was cutting out so i changed temp sensor,isv,cleaned throttle body to no sucsess but i noticed if i pulled the acc pedal towards me with my foot my motor reacted by idling spot on so i checked the acc cable adjusted any slack and made sure the switch was making good contact when the acc pedal is not being pressed basically i think that switch just tells the engine when the revs are off and to idle check the wires on this switch for damage mine has been fine for about a week now after trying to solve this idle prob for months.there are 2 scews attaching this switch on my car if yours is the same just loosen them and move it over so when you take the foot off the acc pedal its definately activated hope this is helpful my idle prob has had my head done in for months :)

had idle probs for ages sticking on and almost cutting out lifting the acc pedal stopped this so i had a play around with the micro swich on the throttle body adjusted the cable and it seems to have solved it :D the cable is defo in need of replacement and the rubber grommet how much did it set u back?

Thinking of tinting my tail lights but couldnt find anything in halfords today is there a kit and how do you do it?

is that what would cause blue smoke?mine dosnt seem to burn blue smoke hopefully will be nothing major or i will get shot of her and buy a golf v5

no blue smoke either could mine just use a little more than average?think i will top her up and keep an eye on how many miles i get before top up is needed.just worried about killing her didnt realise corrados use oil
