Thanks all! Yes apparently any cars before 2001 are exempt providing they are under 3.0l! Close one ;-)

Hi Does anyone have the emissions figures for the VR6? I was told that any cars over 225g would be penalised with a £25 congestion charge and wondered where the VR6 falls in under this? Regards Nick

Just felt that I had to come on and tell everyone about what a great experience I had at Stealth in the hands of Vince! It is such a relief to find a garage that knows their Corrado's so well and at the same time are such nice people to deal with! I drove all the way from London to Coventry and it was worth every mile. Will definitely be going back again and will not take my Rado elsewhere now! I should also say how much I love my new suspension: H&R springs and KONI T/A shocks with Eibach ARB and new Audi S3/TT wishbone bushes! AWESOME!

How to connect head unit to instrument dimmer wire?
Nick_Micouris replied to Nick_Micouris's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Cheers Phil Will have a look. Alpine have coloured the wire orange, so I will look for the blue/white wire in the cars power etc loom for the head unit. Thanks again! -
Don't suppose anyone with VAG.com in the North East London/Essex area (or anyone in London) is able to help me are they? I would order one, but they will take a while to deliver from the USA and the UK site is soooooo expensive.

How to connect head unit to instrument dimmer wire?
Nick_Micouris replied to Nick_Micouris's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
Nice one! Okay then, so I should look for a blue/white wire in the car's ISO loom? Or a blue/white wire that goes to instrument bulbs, yes? Thanks so much! -
Hi all I jave just installed a new Alpine Head Unit and I see that you can connect the headunit up to the car's illumination adjustment. To quote the manual: DIMMER LEAD: This lead may be connected to the vehicle's isntrument cluster illumination lead. This will enable the vehicle's dimmer control to dim the backlighting of the unit. I would like to do this, but can anyone tell me which lead I should tap into? I was thinking the illumination wire on the bulb for the ashtray or something but don't know which of the wires I need. Can anyone advise me, please? Many thanks Nick

Does anyone know where I can buy the VAG.com software and cable for a 1994 Corrado VR6? I need it to diagnose my ABS faults and it will be useful for the future. Thanks in advance!

Want to buy new sunroof mechanism - right part number?
Nick_Micouris replied to Nick_Micouris's topic in Suppliers Forum
Well - this is not working out well for me at all so far :( The gaps are causing water to come in and drip into the interior. Looking at the design, it seems that there are only channels on the left, right and the edge nearest to the windscreen. The back edge has no drainage channel on the mechanism frame and therefore water coming in there is going all over the place. What are my options? Should I buy a new seal from VW? Is that possible? Has no-one else experienced leaks?
