  1. After putting the car in their, leave the garage door / windows open until its all cooled down. Shouldn't be a problem as long as you run the car now and again. I've had my car in a similar garage for the last 10 years with no issues.
  2. Cheers guys. Dave, your right. It clips onto the fuel injector pipe and fuel injector fittings just prior to the pipes going into the head. I had to look hard for that one. Jay
  3. Hi Guys The garage replaced my alternator and forgot to refit this clip. I cannot figure out where it goes, does anyone have any ideas? Cheers Jay
  4. Its true Davidwort. My valver had a marzipan head gasket as well - until the cake gremlins got at it. I had it replaced with a toffee one, this one has lasted quite well. A bit like my marshmellow suspension - An excellent Ad by the way. Jay
  5. Ye. Same thing happened to mine ages ago. In my case it was the slave that went, But I believe the same effect will happen if the master goes or both ;>

Wasn't me - I'm in Penwortham and its a standard valver!
  7. Mines a totally original 2.0l. Could use some engine and suspension tune ups but I like it the way it is - and it keeps its cheap to own and run :D The only pic I have of it is in my Avatar Jay
  8. Mine's the oldest car in our car park at work and its the only one that anyone talks about - the car park includes scoobys, mini cooper s's and other sporty numbers but no one cares. Yes, everyone constantly asks me when I'm getting shut of the old VW and people constantly ask "so how old is it?". At the end of the day I enjoy the car, rattles and niggles included. To be honest its in better nick that 80% of all the other cars in the car park.
  9. Not selling mine. I've had it 11 years. Its a weekend car now anyway. The insurance is good value. Nothing on the road like it (I see loads more Porsches and other sports cars). The misses and me bought our house based on the fact there was a nice big garage that I could store the C in and work around it. What an understanding wife I've got. I use her car for work now and she gets the bus! Quality :D
  10. Hi Guys Does anyone have the part no. for the brackets that hold the gas struts to the boot. Both LH and RH. Mine look like they just come up from the Titanic and I would like to replace them with new / newer ones that aren't fossised!! :D Regards James
  11. Cheers guys Got it sussed now. The clips were hidden behind a piece of sticky backed plastic that was 'well' stuck. Jay
  12. Walesy The blue clips all seem to be joined up as one piece on the other side of the rear panel. But I don't know how to access that side?
  13. vr6storm How do you get to the bracket. I cannot see it underneath and its not in the boot? Cheers Jay
  14. Hi guys Just washing my car for the first time in weeks and the sodding corrado logo on the back fell off. It seems the blue plastic retaining bracket has given up as most are snapped off. I want the graphic back on the car. So does anyone know the part no. for the blue retainer, know how to fit it (I cannot see it underneath or in the boot), or does someone have one in good condition that they would be willing to part with :D Cheers Jay
