this anoying problem happend to me (91 Hreg), i'm not sure how it could be connected, but it magicly fixed itself when i put in a new battery.

blackg60, they are from a mk4 golf, but i have used polo door pins. They are easy to do, you just have to make the original hole bigger, then wire the led to you'r alarm. simple and effective! I could go on for ages explaining how to do every detail, but once you have the parts in you'r hand it will become obvious.

Those look good, I have done something similar with a3 lights. i'm thinking that inpro are going to have to make replacement lenses for their angel eyes?
-
i picked mine up at a breakers, audi's and vw's seem to have the same ones.

Hears a poor picture of mine, their not quite straight, like most of the mods i do, i will tidy them up some day!

quote"BLACKG60" but I fancy the mk4/5 led + pin set up the golfs have, anyone on here got them is it easy to do ? I have the led+pin set up from a mk4 golf , it's very easy to do and looks good. i used door pins from a polo because the golfs were missing, the pins dissapear perfectly flush when locked, which is a nice touch. i will try and post some pictures tomoro.

also (maybe even better) try going down you'r local carpet shop and taking a look at their floorwise or cloud nine foam style underlays. some of the floorwise stuff is basicly identical to dyno matt, and even has a db sound reduction rating (40/60db i think), one bag would cover every squre inch of you'r interior for a very reasonable price. I replaced the very heavy original corrado underlay with this stuff. i'll be sticking panels to the inside of my doors very soon!

I just fitted pin surrounds with led's from a mk 4 golf gti today, they look very nice and oe. just had to make the holes in the door cards a bit bigger, then i wired the led to my alarm, very easy. I used door pins from a polo, but i guess the golf ones fit too. i think new audi's have the same led door pin setup.

cheers guys, the new pics are on the first page (only the top photo is original) i would like to put up more pics, but my phone camera doesn't work with my mac so i have to send them to my email, which costs. i have got an a4 light with hid's to rip apart now, so i might have a go at them too. the a3's are not finished yet, i just test fitted them to check weather the spaceing's looked ok on the car.

:D I just bought some bbs from shilakadaddy. They arrived well packed and when he said they would. He can also be trusted with large amounts of your cash! pleas add him to the list:D -
Insurance was a big decision swayer for me, so i bought a 1.8 16v, i have probably spent the the cost of a nice vr6 on it in the two years i have had it. i have no regrets though, i will never sell this car. i'm just going to convert it to a 1.8 turbo (modern engine) when i have some spare cash instead. I think you shoud just go for the vr6, whichever one you get it will probably cost the same again in the next two years, if you keep looking at this website!
