Any 'how tos' on doing an ignition switch on a rado vr? Or is it a case of pulling the whole column apart to get to it...? Need to do it soonish for my mate as he gets dodgy looks as he starts his car with a screwdriver to the new switch!!

He is actually the 2nd guy to write one off in this country. a Saudi Arabian guy wrote one off when he clipped a bus last year october. The car was up for sale as salvage for £450,000. Raj @ Ns racing told me about it and showed me the pictures. I will try and find the link to the advert and post it up.

As above guys. I am now running a 2.9 bottom end as i had my 2.8 block rebored with forged pistons to 2.9 spec. I bought a metal head gasket for a 2.8 but as the bore size is now slightly larger, will i need to change the head gasket (i think i will :roll: ) to 2.9 spec? Is there a company that make an o.e head gasket in metal. I dont really want to go for a spacer gasket as the comp has been lowered already due to the forged pistons. Cheers in advance!

Cheers for that crasher. Ive got the corrado at the momment, and its killing me that this car wont start especially as ive done this conv. in mk2's many a time! Will try that tomorrow.

Thats what i bought, but i requested that he done a slight variation on it though and it doesnt look too bad once its bolted up to the engine....

Where can i get the above to convert my schrick obd1 inlet manifold to obd2? I remember seeing a guy selling these on ebay some time ago, but as per usual, i never paid it any attention....Doh! :roll: Any help much appreciated!!

I (cough) used to work for them, but left after 7 months because i wasnt happy with how they wanted me to fit alarms, example... vehicle has alarm already installed into it which isnt working, i get sent down to fit new alarm, im told to leave that alarm in and 'chuck' in the new alarm in less than 2 hours (cat 1) No.no.no!!! Kept having arguments with the bosses over time fitting alarms and in the end i told them to stick it!! I have a motto which has gained me alot of clientele over the years, it is 'work on any car as if it was your own' Nuff said!
