Top of my bucket list for a long time has been to drive around Spa. Me and a friend decided to take a trip to the Nurburgring and then head over to Spa. 95F_3474 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_3422 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_3421 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_3046 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_2960 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_2959 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_2879 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_2661 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_2660 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_2112 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_2111 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_1704 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_1681 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_1680 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_1491 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr 95F_1490 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr IMG_20180717_202022 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr

While getting the fuel tank straps done, I had my rear caliper carries shot blasted and coated, ready for the MK4 Golf rear calipers IMG_20180303_130139 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr Gloss red to match the Porsche Brembo calipers IMG_20180310_110000 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr IMG_20180422_101259 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr IMG_20180422_131649 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr Brembos are a tight squeeze under the 16" BBS IMG_20180422_151822 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr

Busy time working on the car recently. Unfortunately I had a issue driving 1 day, when the front near side wheel felt like it was going to fall off. A few mechanics told me the gearbox was causing the issue, which was worrying after not long having the gearbox rebuilt. After refurbishing my dirveshafts and fitting new inner and outer cv joints and doing both front wheel bearings, the issue has gone. While the car was on axle stands in my garage, I decided to tackle a few jobs First up, rusty fuel tank straps. IMG_20180210_112540 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr Looking a lot better after being shot blasted and then treated with a zinc coating to help stop rust. On the way to the ferry for DMPD 2015, I managed to get put a rather large hole in my Forge sump by catching a speed bump. corrado_broken by Paul Taylor, on Flickr Thankfully one of the guys at Auto Finesse had a sump on one of his cars at home and with minutes to spare we made he ferry. Wanted to make the most of the new refurb gearbox, so bought a GEMA short shifter and will be installing the Gruven short shift for reduced side to side. arz_short_shifter by Paul Taylor, on Flickr My rear number plate holder was broken, so the Corrado got treated to a carbon one from LWS Design corrado_carbon_number_plate by Paul Taylor, on Flickr

Whilst the gearbox was out, I decided to fit a Forge baffled sump as the car does a lot of track days. _20141118_153114 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr IMG_20141207_134353 by Paul Taylor, on Flickr
