  1. Hi...

For those of you that know me, know that I just bought a Corrado a few weeks ago, however after buying it and it undergoing a full VAG.COm and Service History check I was misled by the seller, so it has gone back...A very regretable situation, however the car was'nt right...so I just bought this today...it only has 73k on it and is in superb nik...

Plans for the future include, new lights and some BBS RZ's !!

    What dyu think ?

  2. OK guys need some serious...help I thought a £10 would give me around 60ish miles but i was wrong....and I nearly broke down as there was no juice in it...I need to sort this ASAp....or its going to have to go into Lion Garage next week !!

  3. Get yourself onto the TalkAudio forum and get all the info there.

I may be wide of the mark here but I think a chap called "Mason" on that forum may be able to steer you in the right direction with regards more info/prices etc.

    Peakz...

thanks for the info, I notice your from leicester...so am I, what car dyu drive ?

  4. looks good.... tho it aint dusky mauve as thats only on the campaign models.... check paint code in the boot for the code and check it against the list on the buyers guide on here if you wanna know exactly what colour it is.... looks like one of the blues.... :)

    liking those wheels.... :)

oh right ok, I thought it was it does have a sticker on the O.S/F inner wing stating something Violet.....Log book states Purple..

  5. Some pics on my New Rado...

Not sure about the alloys and number plate's though.

The alloys might stay but the no.plates will go and it needs to be slammed....

Probably change the rear lights at some point...but gota get the fuel guage sorted first...

    What dyu reckon ?

  6. I am running 17X7 Mania Vortex alloys on my Rado with 205/40 17 Toyo Proxes, I checked the air today and it was a measley 21PSI, so i upped the rears to 30 and the fronts to 32 and it feels a bit light and not right now...

    What dyu recomend.....

P.S the car came with them wheels, what do you reckon..are they a bit boy racer....they look like Polo GTI BBS but with a Dark Grey chrome finish ?

  7. could be the sender in the tank, the gauge itself or simply the wire from the sender...

Take the wire off the sender (under the rear seat IIRC) and touch it to ground with the ignition on.... this should make the gauge read FULL, if it doesn't, then it's either the wire or the gauge itself...

i've tried this and the guage did'nt move at all, however there is a positive coming through the purple/black wire ?...

HELP...I need the guage to function...

  8. i just bought a 16v Corrado last week and it has a very similar style plate on them....I have heard the German ones could cause a fuss with the police, I've always had them on my MK2's over the years but recently they have become an isue, I read this on e38 i think...so I am going to go for some smoked ones with about 30% tint on em

  9. Hi fellow Corrado lovers.....

I'm new to the forum and have a 94 2.0 16v Rado in Dusky Mauve and previously owned a 1.8 16v in Silver !, had a couple of MK2 gti's...Ususally use ED38, CGTI and PVW forum but need some specialist advice...basically the fuel guage is in-operative but everything else works...

Is it the Fuel sender ? or could it be something else ?....

    Thanks in advance

I know bugger about electrics, so keep your answers simple please...
