Looking at this, I have had the car for more than 7 years. Shhhiiiiiittttttt!!!
-
Ha ha. Yes that is about right. I am actually trying to finish the interior (still). I think I will probably finish it just in time for it to fall apart due to old age!
Perhaps I should declare finishing the car as a New Years resolution?!?

Corrado R32 4WD - Coxy's old car
Hi all,
The time has come for me to finally move on from modified car ownership, so it is with a heavy heart that I will finally be offering my Corrado R32 for sale.
This car was built mainly by a well known member of the forum, coxy. The build thread is here: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=12027
I have owned the car for about five years and used it fairly sparingly. Because of the nature of buying a running project there was some development still required when I purchased the car and this has been undertaken mainly by reknown VW specialists, J-tech and the phirm.
As of now, I would describe the car as being fully mechanically and electrically sorted. It runs, drives and stops just like an R32 golf, just in a Corrado shell.
A brief spec of the car is:
R32 Engine
Schrick cams
100mm BMC air filter
Custom 6 branch manifold made by Simpsons Race Exhausts
Slimline fans
Black Forest industry's engine mounts
Custom Subframe integrating Mk4 dogbone mount
R32 O2M gearbox
Full 4wd running OE haldex
Full R32 management
KW V.3 coilovers
Eibach front ARB
Eibach strut brace
Passat syncro 25mm rear ARM
Dutchdub toe & camber adjusters on rear
New Genuine VW front wishbones and bushes
New genuine VW rear wishbone bushes
Brembo Porsche 4 pot calipers
330mm disks on separate bells
280mm disks on rear
New door window seals
New roof gutter trims
New headlight lenses
New bora vents
Mk6 golf steering wheel
R32 clocks in mk4 dash
Recaro seats
Alpine ipod head unit
I am sure there are lots of things that I have not mentioned, but those are the main points I can think of. If you have any questions, please ask.
The car will be sold with 12 months MoT
Unfortunately, the interior is not finished. It needs a headlining, and inho, the interior plastics trimming. I have all of the parts, some spares, some new OE stuff, so with the car, all my Corrado parts will be included.
I have listed the car as offers. Quite embarrassingly, I have spent ?30,000 on the car. Quite obviously I won't see anywhere near this back, but I am open to listening to sensible offers. The car is located in Reading, Berkshire
List Date: 5/4/2015
Location: Binfield, United Kingdom

Well, as they say, the time has come...
Perhaps like Coxy before, I seem to have got to the age where modifying cars doesn't seem to hold my interest any longer.
As such, I will be putting the Corrado up for sale shortly. It's a sad day but time moves on and it had to come. During my time of ownership I concentrated on getting the mechanicals and electrics 100% spot on. Ideally I would like the car to go to someone who will finally finish it cosmetically. If anyone is interested in the car, please drop me a note,
Thanks,
Neal.

In a spirit in keeping with the previous owner, another nearly two years have passed...but...the car is 3/3 for the first time in nearly four years. Hopefully it will be my daily as of next week :)

Hi All,
I have added some more parts to eBay. A few corrado items such as cream interior fixings, VAG COM cable, VR6 hub. Some new genuine VAG parts such as mk2 handbrake cable, power steering belt, some mk4 4motion cat gaskets, loads of interior trim. A hard plastic scuttle cover and some other bits and bobs. I have more parts that I will be listing next week too, so please come back and take a look.

Hi Neal, I know from experience from swapping a coilover kit from a Mk2 Golf to a Corrado, this made the rear of the corrado sit high. I have done it on both a 16v and a G60 and the same thing occurred.Let me have a think, is postage an option at all?
Hello mate,
Thanks for your experience there. Postage would not be a problem if you needed it.
Thanks,
Neal.

Are these for a Mk2 Golf? I assume so seeing no mk2 Corrado exists. Also if they are golf then the rear springs will mean a Corrado sits high. Despite that I am interested for my Mk2. Are they adjustable as I can't make out the pictures on my phone.Hi there,
Working from my old and deteriorating memory, I thought that Mk2 golf 16v and 4 stud 16v corrado's ran the same springs / dampers? The koni website is inconclusive as no springs are listed for the corrado, and the only suspension kit is for a VR.
The spring platform is adjustable on the rear shocks, held in place by a circlip by the look of things. The dampers are not adjustable.
Let me know if that helps at all,
Thanks,
Neal.

Hi all,
I have a set of matching koni dampers and springs for a mk2 16v golf. These will also phsically fit a corrado, though they would be more suited to a 16v. Potentially an issue with the rear ride height as pointed out below. All in good working condition. Cosmetically they look a little grubby but they always do. Would make a nice fast road / track setup. I would like £100 for these, collected from Reading.
Thanks for looking,
N.

Hi all,
I am looking for a Corrado VR6 fuel tank, fuel pump and retaining straps. Does anyone have one laying round, preferably close to Reading, Berkshire?
Thanks,
Neal.

I wish you had put this on a few days earlier !!!!I enquired at the dealers about this loom, £97 + VAT, but no longer availble. So I ended up finding one on ebay for £15. When it turns up, Ill be modifing the loom to stop the earth melting, and fitting to the car, and my old loom the same and sell it on.
Wow, £120. Ouch!! Glad yo got sorted though :)

I'm sure I've asked before but could you try and keep sales to one thread please? It's not a strict rule as such but I'm sure you don't want us just merging/mashing all your threads together. Far easier to manage your own thread.
Noted. I have combined everything into one thread other than the doorcards. You just can't get enough characters in the title line otherwise :(

Ah, top man, thanks. Drop me a note if you need any details.
Thanks,
