Holy thread resurrection! Anyone seen this car recently? I sold it on to a guy from Ireland but heard it came back to the UK:

This is posted over on seatcupra.net - brilliant!! http://www.m0rksport.co.uk/shop/index.php

It has only done about 50 miles since the coilovers were put on. You are right, it needs to settle and then I will adjust.
-
Nope, I prefer this:
-
Well in the three weeks I have had it: TT wheels, new tyres, wheel alignment etc. Full service at Midland VW New head unit Aero/Lupo wipers - thanks for the discount link Uprated headlight wiring loom and bulbs Plenty of cleaning - Meguiars 3 stage 12 months tax Coilovers are next on the list. ....and they are now one! Went for FK AKs as they were within my budget. Also had new front top mounts, rear discs/pads/wheel bearings and new front to rear brake lines and rear brake flexi hoses at the same time. It also made 188bhp on Midland VWs rolling road so I am happy with that.

Sorry and thanks! I always tend to use picture hosting links so I don't use up precious space on forums.

Anyone tried these?

Sorry to say this, but it is the LCR. I really must have a good 'un but I have always found it be fantastic. Even the bloke who bought it off me couldn't believe how much better it felt than others he had driven. The other cars I have had in the last five years were an Audi S4 and Sapphire Cosworth and the LCR is the best of both of them - understeer v oversteer! Whilst the C is very good (especially for the age of car) my LCR was quicker point to point. Power delivery, torque, traction and brakes are other factors to consider and this is where the LCR comes out tops - even when compared with other similar cars.

Welcome - couldn't resist with the above question - first thing that came to my mind - Yeah, I will send you my Bank Account details - extra funds for my Corrado always come in useful  Hope you enjoy your new ownership Hmmmm, let me think........ ........nope, sorry! :D What is the uprated wiring loom I keep hearing about - DIY or off the shelf?
-
Oh yes - the LCR was without doubt the best car I have ever owned. Had it from new and for nearly 4 years, it was remapped as well. On SCN - same user name - great forum. Getting a new Leon FR TDi next month to ease the pain. The VR6 will just be a fun car.

Thanks for that. Any views on a local specialist?
