Mcr VR6 started following Corrado Spotting! Was it you?
-
Spotted, a lovely gray lowered rado with big rims and I am guessing spacers on, in the North East near Yarm last week. Plate started J503, looked great!
-
ba-bum tish! lol, cheers mate the new owner drove her away an hour ago and I should really stop looking at other cars on the net and do some work! I've stolen my brothers 1.1 pug while he's at uni and it will do for a bit... will need more power soon tho :luvlove: :norty:

a pillar trim are obsolete, just to let you know!!

If car manufacturers had any sense they would make announcements a few months before stuff goes obselete and all the enthusiasts would go out and stock up. They would make lots of sales in a short period and we'd all be happier! -
Nil point! I have both of these on DVD these days
-
yeah, that is a great photo. I have no chance of recognising most of those cars tho, terrible with anything earlier than the 90's!

Anything I need to know or can I just jump in?? lol I had a beautiful mature cheddar and cherry tomato pancake on tuesday (toms lightly fried and cheddar melted on the pancake in the pan), with a little colmans english mustard. Bootiful

haha, looks tidy enough. great plate! -
i know, just cant justify keeping it on the driveway undriven and uninsured tho... I'm gonna stick about on the forum and keep my eye out for another next year sometime. Been looking at golf and jetta mk2's as well, previously uncharted territory for me but nice and cheap! Look at this beauty; http://www.edition38.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=276205 Not as good looking as a rado obviously :luvlove:
-
He's a talker.... :D I liked the look of this one which I see you've spotted as well. Seems a bit underpriced tho so I'm wondering why... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=89405&p=1033398&hilit=storm#p1033398 As for the spend to sell vs dont spend debate, there's tonnes of cars out there in all standards of repair, from knackered to completed project, so when you decide to sell you just draw the line as you see fit and let the buyers decide! Personally I'd replace the HT leads if they were definitely at fault, because that will affect the sale quite a bit but if you cant afford it you cant afford it!

METTALIC BLACK VR6 CORRADO STOLEN ON FRIDAY NIGHT
Mcr VR6 replied to Timbo's topic in General Car Chat
Glad you got it back, better than finding it burnt out somewhere... I think you need to notify your insurer within a pretty small time frame or they get arsey. You can let them know the details initially without putting a claim through. I'd do that ASAP and then see what they say. They should assess it for you and still let you choose if you want to claim etc based on your excess and if they think it is a write-off etc. -
Well I decided I wasn't selling my storm anymore as I wasn't going to get the right price, (http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=85049&start=30 - i was always going to regret it which is just tough t1tty really), but forgot about the ad I had left on ed38. Someone got in touch and came to view it, the first person no less! Today I've received the deposit, and he will be picking it up next week. I cant even take her for a goodbye spin having no tax or insurance... :( I am gutted but I've got no money even for insurance these days, let alone to get it the way I want. I will just have to pray to baby jesus that I find another clean unmodded VR6 in a couple of years! *sniff* Edit: anyone fancy saving one for me? Preferably in an air con garage would be lovely

yeah its looking good, great rolling shot of the bonnet showing your calipers, and the black grill looks nice sitting under the bonnet bra -
great stuff, I really like the front too, think everyone else may have funny glasses on?? My first thoughts when you mentioned black rims was that it would be too dark but they look good. Think it would look better on some split rims tho with polished outer and black centres. Putting a lot of cash in to this beasty! How come you went for kw v3's instead of 1's? I dont know the diff...
