Had a water leak on my car 1.8 16v, later found out it was down to a split pipe but i remember my dad saying that it could be the water bottle cap could be knackered as in not holding pressure said to check it by putting an empty bottle somwhere in engine bay and putting over flow pipe from water bottle into empty bottle, if any water shows in empty water bottle then your caps knackered, failing that could be your head gasket on its way out.

Do u think his insurance covered track days, that would be one expensive mistake if it didnt, wonder what his insurance will be next year? -
ok thanx for the advice guys anyone know any very good bodyshops in the northeast?
-
Yeah i know what your getting at but they wont go through insurance they know there insurance will go right up and im sure they pay a fair packet already, ill try get as much outta them as i can, im still not sure what i want to do yet, i just feel pi*sed off, if i was to claim for whiplash i would need to goto the hospital and have them check me over and see if i have suffered from it.

Didnt get no witnesses or police to come, but it was clear he was in the wrong he pulled into my lane without checking mirors or signaling, and im sure the highway code or whatever states u must signal and then check if its clear before pulling out, he needed to be in my lane to get to where he was going so its obvious that he just didnt look behind him, i think the reason he didnt look is cos i pulled out of a junction at a roundabout and started to accelerate up the road in the outside lane when hed gone straight over the roundabout it was clear behind him the dumb sh*t didnt think that i might have pulled out of the junction and started to ovetake, im gonna try get as much as possible out of them, what kinda things should i say to them to acheive that?
