  1. Yea but dont you find you look harder on your own car, when i do mine i have to convice all my work mates im doing a proper test or they would mercilessly take the piss for months if they thought i was going easy on my own car

  2. I got mine from http://www.craigsplates.com, i recommend them - brilliant service and the plates are the real deal !

About two months ago vosa changed the mot manuel to say that cars had to display the postcode of suppiying outlet etc and every thing exept an "approved national flag or euro gb sign" was a reason for a fail but they have been forced by the goverment to do a u turn because they dont have the legal powers to decide this, I know this is correct because I went on my 5 year mot testers refresher course last week and asked

  3. Ive got some quality pressed steel german no. plates on my car, has anyone else had any problems with the police? as im an mot tester i know their not exactly legal but just wondered about police reactions if you get pulled over?

  4. Hi guys and gals, just a quick one, ive heard that me 1.8 16v (kr?) is supposed to be run on super (98) unleaded ? is that true and will running it on 95 do any damage (other than losing a few horses)

  5. While im in that sort of area, is the plastic scuttle panel supposed to be full width and cover the wiper motor ? it only covers the far nearside (heater intake) on mine. Forgive my ignorance but i work on renaults all day long so not used to quality cars :)

  6. Hi my corrado which I have just brought has the wrong wiper arms fitted which stick up too high, foul the bonnet etc, does anyone know if golf ones fit or of a cheap substitute i cant afford TT ones, cheers :?
