Hi Oilman I'm just about to have my Corrado VR6 serviced and the garage has come back with two different options for me. Either 10w40 semi synthetic or 5w30 fully synthetic castrol. Which would be best for my car? Cheers

Could all this be related........... A month ago my rad started leaking so had that replaced, while being replaced my mechanic noticed the water pump was leaking so that got replaced. Now the heater matrix has gone - to much of a coincidence????? That's the final straw - it breaks my heart to say it but the car is being sold!!!!!!!

Ok Chaps Hope you can help - my corrado just broke down!!! :( Driving along and black smoke came through my vents and the car steamed up. I pulled over and I noticed my passenger footwell had loads of coolant in it. The car has been recovered now and is sat in my local garage. Anyone know what this problem might be...........need prepare to spend more money on the dam thing. Only just forked out £700 on a new rad/water pump and window regulator. Cheers

Cheers By the state of them, they have been on since the car was new. OK - I'm gonna give it a blast and hopefully the paint is fine under the stickers. Lee

Hey Chap's I'm after a bit of advice on how to remove my stickers on the exterior of my Corrado. I have VW sticker's that runs above the sills and also the length of the sills. They are starting to look really tacky and I want to remove them myself this weekend. How do I go above this? Any advice welcome, plus will the paint work under the stickers be OK? Cheers Lee

This is the exact problem I had a few month agos - crank shaft sensor was the problem.

Hi Dave My passenger door handle recently broke on me - I can open the door fine from the inside but the outside handle will not open the door. On closer inspection it seem that a metal part has broken inside the lock. Will your repair kit fix my problem? If so let me pm with details of payment? Cheers Conan
