  1. wahoo me and my bf got our cars in this months golf plus! well chuffed with the pic although they got doms name wrong (dan baxter meant to be dom) its in the ists write up!

will need to get some pics up soon as its got the exhaust on now too!

  2. depends what has been done to engines really.

my guys mk2vr6 got 206bhp but has had lots done to the engine! apparently the cams make a big difference to the torque too. we thought the mk 2 had 268's but stealth reckoned it had 264's cause it makes lots of torque really early. although apparently you would get a higher bhp out of 268's at bout 220bhp when it made 206bhp.

we asked about r32 engines and technically that should be faster in the c! due to the golf not being able to put the power down and just spinning up where as due to the c being heavy it can handle the engine better.

technicaaly it could be lots of reasons.

  3. me and my guy went to stealth racing on monday i found it quite enjoyable as ive not had a car dynod before or even seen one being done. it was rather scary too it sounds like your cars about to blow up.

i had my standard 16v set up on the dyno fuel pressure/wur mod and ignition timing then a power run at £65+vat for about 40mins. i started out at 133bhp and finished at 137bhp.

the guy said that my engine hadnt even started to loosen up yet due to the miles (66,000approx) and that it needs a good thrashing (wahoo permission to thrash). for all of you that havent had theirs dynod and want to know what it may do the guy said the 16v's loosen up at 100k miles and that they usually do 155bhp approx.

now the mk2 vr6: it had a remap at £275+vat or £250+vat depending on wether its a soldered in chip. it made 196.9hp at 5846rpm + 193.7lb ft at 4183rpm before the remap and 206.5hp at 5790rpm 205.6lb ft at 4066rpm after mapping.

it makes over 160lb ft from 500rpm and climbs steeply to 205lb ft max

they definately know what they are doing at stealth.

  4. hey i used to sell vinyl and there is a company in leicester that did a ferrari in glitter blue! it does look awsome!

i suppose the pricing like anything depends on the vinyl and the vinyl life as you can get all sorts of different types!

check this site this is where i used to work! thank god i dont anymore but you can have a look at the pricing and the types of vinyl you can get! they just sell it though not fit it but may give you a barganing chip

  5. that looks nice! wasnt the new scirrocco meant to be a mixture of both neway! and that was meant to be a i-roc but they decided to make that a rocco! it will be forever for them to decide the finished project it was with the rocco.although it is nice

would be cool if they did a new one aslong as it has the spolier feature! other wise it wudnt be a corrado! and the slanted back window

  6. i used to drive my car all the time and found it to be really comfy! but now i dont drive it as often i know what you mean i cant get the position right!

if someone else drives my car and moves the seat i cant get the position back and i know what you mean about the notches but im lil anyway !

i think its a getting used to thing but if i drive my car all the time it seems fine!! ive got standard cloth seats! maybe its the leather in urs?

  7. FFS they are just about as bad as loopylindsays font :censored:

i like red so :p but not on wheels thats a lil too much! think they would look ok on a black car or on a red car if you painted the lip black and the insides on the spokes black to split up the colour!

dont think it would suit many more cars!
