Just the problem I had in my 2.0 8v.. Total cost was 270 quid.. 100 quid for the master, 50 quid for the slave then the vat and labour...All part of owning an older car mate :( :(

Ive seen a post on here on how to adjust the gear linkage.It could solve your problem. I will try to find it but I'm sure someone else may bet me to it.. :lol:

NOt sure if a split pins is used on a VW :confused4: When i done my Punto GT hub last year the hub nut had to be crushed.. The axle had two slots in it and you crushed the end of the nut into the slots and that prevents it from moving...

Just the usual wash 'n' wax of the raddo.. Then its fit my new Dymag carbon wheels to my BMW R1100S and take it out for a blast :clap: :clap: :clap:
