thought you were aiming high with this car?? giving up already?? :confused4: not giving up mate just been offered a job working overseas so wont have time for it and im getting a company car of my choice so its just gonna sit and rust away which is no use to anyone really :shrug:

iv used some good quality chrome paint to do it mate what actually is it?? where can you get it??? its plastikote chrome paint, dont get the spray can tho! if i remember rightly i got it from either B&Q or halfrauds :D

had some progress over the weekend some random pics first first wash for 2-3months interior genuine milage! :shock: first job was to tackle the sticking door latch which was all gunked up with grease after taking the doorcard off i found this done by the previous owner!! :cuckoo: then i did some cosmetic adjustments! no more rubbing strips and it looks alot cleaner now right side left side shot of the front mess!! its had a bump at some point as the lights are all out of postition! the next couple of hours i spent doing all of the door locks, i had a key for evey lock on the car and the ignition!! now i only have 1 for the boot and the rest are all the same key :D new door handle all the locks in bits wasnt that hard really when i worked it out :clap: and then i did the headlights which were all buggered inside as you can see before after thats all for now, more later in the week :wave:

its the good thing about being in the trade mate, contacts! Full gasket set, rings and all the shells, water pump and all belts and lifters

iv priced everything up and it came to just under 300 all in so its not all bad i suppose

well iv got to do something engine wise as its blowing smoke like mad now!! had a chat with someone on here last night so just weighing up options i.e rebuild it with new rings and stuff or spend more money than i can really afford and do a swap?? choices choices :shrug: :bad-words:
