I’m still looking, let me know what you may have available new, or used but in good shape.

I’m still on the hunt.
If someone has a new spare, or a used piece in great condition, I am ready to PayPal.

No such thing as an OBD2 2.9 manifold. As you are in the states, your MK4 V6 'GTI' came with a plastic variable intake (same as the Schrick VGI essentially). Fit that, the ECU and Throttle body and you're golden. Way more responsive low down than any 2.9 stuff.I’ve actually owned one at one point in time, it came from a highline golf, no isv tube, 2.9 Tb pattern, and has the larger plenum, I’m just looking for another.

As the title states I’m looking for an obd2 2.9 manifold.
I know they are tough to come by, but if anyone has one for sale, I’ll gladly take it off your hands.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi mate,Left hand slot seal as in the LH side window scraper strip that is fitted along the top of the door?
I may have one but it's the age old problem of trying to get the fukkers off without bending them..
Left hand meaning driver's side seal?
Postage to the u.s.a no problem.
Would you mind posting pictures of the condition? Thanks

yeh i know a chargecooler is the best way to go, but i'm thinking about dropping the rad down and then using a narrow but thick intercooler in front of the grille, and using water injection as the boost gets above say 6/8psi.i want to try and use the standard manifold if i can, i just think that yours and charlies look the best due to being able to use the standard manifold.
Charge coolers are great, you should just use the largest heat exchanger you can fit, and a large reservoir. That is preferably not found under the bonnet. In South Florida, most everyone avoids charge coolers because of the heat soak and temperatures down here.

There are plenty of nice looking VRT builds going on over in the states, Vortex is full of them isn't it 8) 8)yes it is, I am a build contributor as well.

This is probably the most compact VRT install I've seen! - http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4337240&page=1that's Juan's build thread. He built my short runner, he puts out some very nice work.

I was finally able to source another one.
021 133 223 AD is the part number for those who are interested and converted to obd2. There is no difference in throttle bodies on the obd2 cars
