  1. Unfortunately the time has come that I have to sell my Corrado :(

It has never failed me, I just don't have the time or space for the continued love and maintenance it requires any more now that I have moved.

I don't know what more to say on top of what I have listed on ebay so I shall link it:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111303385539

As I need a quick sale I will let it run with no reserve, though I will pull it early for offers around £950 ono.

    Thanks for looking!

  2. Messaged him regarding his errors, reply I got back was

This is a late 94 reg vehicle,I'm led to believe it is a

storm leather interior, storm badges inside and out....the body kit is of

excellent quality and very well fitted, the colour is not Japanese, its

actually a ford RS orange colour...the quarter glasses are £80 each and

available now....anyway I've spent enough time responding to some one who

must have way too much time on their hands, good luck in your dreaming of

being a carrado owner, one day maybe one day....X

It's true, I always dream of owning a bright orange carrado ricer with no rear windows =[

  3. Coming out of work into the car park, see a couple youths who work in different departments stood around it. I have the fear, then when he sees me unlock it, exclaims "Definitely the coolest car in the car park by miles, mate"

Made me smile after a sh1tty day at work!

  4. I also read somewhere on here that suggests pulling it back to unclip, and gradually rotating it 90 degrees, then it just pretty much slides out.

I've tried this and it is pretty much true, not too hard to get back in, but it is a bit awkward and can sometimes need a fair bit of fiddling.

But it works :) For me, at least.

  5. Now thats why I don't take my pride-and-joy, costs-me-bucks, Corrado VR6 round "da 'ring". Fact.

No more dangerous than any other stretch of track if you dont drive beyond your and the cars limits.

Video is not that clear but two things, he ignored the caution flag on the right hand side of the circuit and it looks like he was braking on turn in.....

Yeah it did seem like very obvious 'driver error' but I guess it's the same old at least they seemed alright :)

I was just watching Police Camera Action (I have work early in the morning, I have no better way to spend my saturday evening :D ) and found it funny to see a Corrado on there being described as a "boy racer who doesn't understand how to emergency stop"

Just because there was a lot of smoke, they still stopped quickly, I thought that was a good thang :D

  6. By the way I'm not really interested in replacing with those terrible max power sparco things

    What about Ripspeed?

   [/quote:1ojaw5z9]

    :brickwall:[/quote:1ojaw5z9]

    Mine came with Ripspeed pedals..

They really do feel awful, like most things ripspeed, and they're too big and clunky.

Sorta gotten used to them though, probably change them in future!

  7. you could always go for the mk4 height/reach adjustable column

    Wut.

May still be a thread somewhere on the forum, I vaguely remember somone fitting a mk4 column complete with mk4 stalks etc, the whole caboodle, by welding the side brackets from the Corrado tube to a mk4 column tube.

Pretty neat bit of work and the sturdy design and reach adjustment on the mk4 column would make for a perfect driving position.

sorry/cheeky to get your hopes up but it's not just a 5min bolt in :)

Hah yeah, still a good idea though, and I wouldn't mind if it took a day of welding and modifying :p, though I thought about just like welding the dodgy UJ up but, it's not generally accepted to weld steering bits it seems :/

Though then you use the mk4 cowling or what? How does it work, like the reach adjustment, cuz the corrado just aint made for it :) On a plus side, my mk4s steering is very tight and responsive

  8. The chap from the company said that a moulding / tooling is only good for a run of 20-25 anyway before they need to be redone... so they do only really work to limited volumes which is ideal for us. They said previously when I was enquiring about the window rollers that for simple one off copies prices can be prohibitive but once you get to 10's of orders, things become more than acceptable.

We won't know a price until they can analyse the existing trim and take some measurements but I'd be staggered if they come in at more than the sorts of price £30'ish people are expecting to pay.

    Sounds good then!

When the group buy is ready I'll put my name down :)

As long as they don't make the fixed height tubes obsolete as well..

  9. Thanks for the advice. I could give it a go, but unlikely to sell on the badges after reading up on that tigerseal stuff. That stuff sounds solid!

Damn right it is! My aerial came away from the base thingy screwed onto the roof, i just hoofed in some tigerseal, masking taped it up overnight, and tested it by leaving it on and going through a carwash, didn't even touch it :D
