If the coilovers are any good I will take them.

replaced the idle control valve with a new one. The injectors were pulled out and cleaned as well. Yeah plug one when pulled out is a bit mucky with oil on it.

I have changed the distributer, distributer cap, rotor arm, spark plugs, air flow metre, new fuel pump, cleaned fuel lines, rocker cover gasket, central silencer, retune engine, clean injectors, cam gasket and cleaned the throttle body. The car revs up and down but not as much now I've changed the parts. you can really feel the car rock when turning the engine off. Just want to know if anybody had done a compression test on a 2.0L 16v 9A and what was the outcome. I think It might be a dodgy valve, maybe not ceiling properly?

Changed lots of bits on my car now but still runs a bit lumpy. Anybody got any advice on a compression test? Could it be something wrong with the valves?

Thanks for the reply. I fitted the new distributer but runs really bad (un drivable) I connected the ht leads back on the same way as they were before. But. What is the static and dynamic timing specification? If anybody could help with some info on this would be much appreciated? Thanks Nath
