non-standard wheels aside,I more than halved my fuel bill going from a 1.6 auto mk2 to my VR and it routinely does 70 miles to under 10 pounds worth of fuel a day and my speedo reads within 2mph at 70mph on its 'non standard tyres'

I replaced my radiator just after this ;) it had cracked where the clip goes in at the top bend

There were three versions of 14" P's(mk1,mk2,Pirelli's own 8 P version with a metal cap)two versions of 15" P's(vws 5.5x15 9 slot and pirellis own 6x15 8 slot again with metal cap)and a very rare 16" version(5x120 bmw) ;) As above,if your still on 256s any of the 14s will clear

Open pits ideal for fast road,you should be fine pullin off as need be.Whose it with?

im guessing but youll do/have done a flush and renew on the brake fluid as well as the change of discs/pads?will help a bit if nothing else but your still going to be losing them @7-8 laps in at the hairpin are you doing an open pit event or a normal hatch' day? if your doing a rolling in-out your tyre temps will matter more as running sessions like a normal track day theyll drop too much inbetween sessions and by the time theyre back up to temp youll be getting more pressure variance than an open pit if your abusing the available time so on a normal track day its harder to set for optimum but checking the first sessions pressures before and after will be the best guide for your next session what run off have they extended btw? not been up often this year

sorry not trying to pull a sale but wouldnt advise you to get one peebee unless you have A - air , B - raised engine or C - both

I could be that guy I think ,kinda on most forums as dubbed_up_daz....At present I work in govan mate but been attending to the corrado the last few weeks in prep for selling it so had the week prev. to edition and a week off for recuperation after lol but im moving back to my mk1s ,not really my decision but makes sense in the long run. This car was only bought as a donor that turned into a love affair trhat turned into the usual rado money pit lol. Lost out on a corrado award at edition due to only having standard cloth but wasnt letting that spoil a great weekend :)

Finished working on my new wheels. Traded the old teledials of my mk2 for these and got a lump off cash into the bargain but they were a bit of a state got some adaptors made out of steel and got them plated so they wont rust wheels on after a fashion :/ and discovered more things to fix.... then painted the caps to match got a poly bushed subframe and wishbones coming next week and ill fit a set of new motor mounts with raising blocks at the same time hopefully
