  1. all the timing is spot on. theres fuel and spark so guess compression must be the problem the oil breather is chucking quite a bit into the fuel distributor and there was pressure in the rocker cover

  3. just changed the bottom end on my rado for the 9a and kept my kr head. i now have a problem with it not idleing and is really lumpy down low in the revs. the oil and water temps seem to be higher than they were before aswell the oil is up to about 114 and the water temps are upto about 95 please help ive tried loads and cant work it out ---------- Post added at 07:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:21 PM ---------- just had a thought i used a kr top end gasket kit could this be the problem do i need a 9a head gasket

  5. just wondered if anyone had a oil breather housing for the 9a block as doin conversion and my kr one doesnt fit
  6. probably not the right place but im after some help. im trying to source a 4 branch manifold for my kr. ive found some on ebay but apparently they dont fit rhd with power steering so thats a no go. just wondered if anyone knows where to get one

  8. it sure is true what they say about the corrado, when u buy it something new it thanks you by breaking something else. new alternaqtor and p/s pump then the water pump decides to go so change that then the pulley decides to give up changed that then the gear selector cable snaps on the way home. love it lol

  10. cheers guys nice easy swap. mines ruuning k jet so was gonna keep the head and fuel system heard this is the best combo
  11. hi guys, i have a 1.8 kr rado and im going to be changing the bottom end for the 2.0 9a block but just wondered if anyone knows if it is a straight swap. just curios of pulleys and all the oil and water channels lining up with the kr head. thanks
  12. cool cheers for the help only reason was im not too keen on the window switch on the corrado. maybe just got too much time on my hands ill leave it where it is
  13. hi im new to the forum and finding it very helpful already. was just wondering if anyone knows whether mk3 golf doorcards will fit into my corrado
